After six years and nearly 40 markets in the making,
Radio Syndicate’s nationally syndicated Latin Hip Hop
radio show Pocos Pero Locos receives a time slot upgrade
on homebase radio station Power 106. The program can now
be heard Sunday nights from 7PM-10PM. "Pocos Pero
Locos has been an important part of the Power
programming lineup for over 6 years,” says Jimmy Steal,
President of Programming for Emmis Communications. “Its
new timeslot will make it accessible to even a larger
audience." |
Pocos Pero Locos is hosted by radio personality Khool Aid.
The three-hour weekly program, which airs on nearly 40
stations nationally features artists like Lil Rob, Spanish
Fly, NB Ridaz and Chingo Bling.
“We’re extremely excited about PPL’s new time slot on Power.
It’s mind -blowing to see a street movement go from an
underground scene, to what has now evolved into a national
radio network,” noted Khool Aid. “Radio will continue to
stay fresh and innovative through programmers like Jimmy
Steal, that have a keen sense for identifying street
movements, and giving them mainstream exposure over the
airwaves.”
Radio Syndicate, Inc. is the country’s first radio
syndication company devoted to providing programs that
target the 12-34 Hispanic demographic. The company was
founded by Edward “E-Dub” Rios, and is based in Los Angeles.
