(mun2) and music producer (2 Live Crew, Shalim, Monchy y
Alexandra and numerous remixes and
compilations).Becoming the true sense of the word
pioneer, Felix Sama was one of the first supporters of
Latin Hip Hop and
Reggaeton movement, opening the doors
for the Ivy Queens, and Pitbulls, helping them become
the international stars they are today.
Regardless of how Sama keeps spreading his wings into
various entertainment endeavors – when the phone call
came offering him to go back home to the airwaves – the
temptation to connect with his audience on a daily basis
was too great. It was only natural for him to become one
of the voices and faces of Miami’s first all Reggaeton &
Latin Hip Hop radio stations LA MEGA 94.9 FM.
The multi-talented and multi-taskful Sama just finished
production on his upcoming long awaited CD “DJ SAMA &
TRUKO PRESENT REGGAETON FUEGO VOL 1.” – to be released
early 2006 – which features other Latin Hip Hop pioneers
Don Dinero, Magic Juan, Fulanito, and Gemstar & Mato! To
tease the industry and his fans, Sama's first single
from this CD, ORITA! will be a featured Reggaeton
download on Gasuza Media / MSN Music as of Sept. 7,
2005.
“With all of the ups and downs I have lived and seen in
this industry, I feel like I am in a better place
mentally and spiritually to take full advantage of the
opportunities I have been given. El Rey de la Disco is
back!” – confirms Sama
