Rap Fest in the Bronx

Many Latin rap artists will be in attendance at the all day, outdoor free Christian Hip Hop event to be held in the Bronx. On August 14, 2004, from 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM, Salem Temple Assemblies of God Church, located at 1408 Bryant Avenue in the Bronx, hosts their tenth annual Rap Fest. This event features 26 Rap Ministries (groups) from various cities, states and countries. This year’s confirmed artists include A.D.F (New York) ,A.S.G. (Maryland) ,Badia (Philadelphia) , Beyond Skills (Florida)

Bobby Bishop (Massachusetts) , Brothers Inc. (Bronx, NY) ,Crowned 1 (Bronx, NY) ,Desirée Renée (New York) ,Foreign Tongues (Monroeville, PA) , Fros' T (California) ,Han Soul (Philadelphia) , Izrael (Sacramento, CA) ,John the Baptist (Delaware) , Crossed Out (Bronx, NY) ,Light Da' Flow Minista (Pittsburgh, PA) , Neginoth Soldiaz (Virginia) ,NFINITE (Minnesota) , Rawsrvnt (Florida) ,Rock Soul Entertainment (New Jersey) , Sean Slaughter (Virginia) ,Sev Statik (Albany, NY) , Sincere Israel (New Jersey) ,Sons of God (New York) , Soul Majestics (Bronx) ,Todd Bangz (New Jersey) ,Vizunari (Connecticut) , Ziglak Boys (Atlanta) , and more.

There will be a host of DJs, graffiti artists and break-dancers. Last year, approximately 5,500 people throughout the course of the day visited Rap Fest 2003, a higher attendance is anticipated by event organizers this year.
