This life is of endless nights... never to break dawn..i only glimpse it on the horizon.. truth eludes me like the light.. I see it and then its gone.. the moon guides me but try as I might the shadows that I fight consume the illumination that might make it right. The stars are memories of what once was.. ghosts dead long ago whispering of hope... once so close now just a twinkle in the skye. Daybreak would bring this nightmare to a close.. bring life to a dying rose.. but the sun is so far and nightmares never are.. when the light comes, will it blind me, will I run ? Am I afraid of what I long for? Am I too comfortable not having something to be strong for? Darkness consumes it needs no provacation to take you.. light only looms, waiting for you to view what you want don't assume that because its there is shows all.. darkness shows nothing at all but does not ask anything at all and accepts all faults the light demands diligence.. courage and most of all FAITH This post has been edited by 4DaLuvOfMusic: Jan 21 2010, 08:19 AM |
