Find out who represents your neighborhood. A councilman or an assemblyman. Go to their offices, tell them you've been harassed, and detail the nights it happened. It'd be best if you had the cops names and badge numbers.

In my area, the cops hold neighborhood meetings. A few years back, maybe like 7 or 8, some cops fucked with me for no reason when I was coming out of a store. I had a brown paper bag, and they shine the flashlight on me at like two in the morning, barking out, "Is that an open container? You drinking out here?"

It was a f*cking .50 cent juice.

I told my moms about it, she brought it up at the meeting and the captain asked if I had a name or badge number. I didn't. So nothing happened.

Anything you have... write down the night in question, write down the police car number, describe the officers, whatever. Their bulshit reasons for pulling ni**as over need to stop. Like when they got me for loud music when I had a stock system in my f*cking Camry... sitting on stock hubcaps, and no tints. wtf?

There are cops out there that do their job, and there are those who are always going to profile. It's disappointing that you can't dress a particular way without drawing attention, but unfortunately that's the reality of the situation.

You can complain, but you're still likely to have older folks in your community telling you to dress differently or keep your sound down to avoid getting shaken down for your I.D.

I say man up, take the beating.. and then sue the f**k out of the city. That's the only way you'll have real proof. Ask them for their badge number, or you're fighting a losing battle. Put on your best white voice and don't play the victim.

If they ask why you want their badge number, tell them you want to report them for harassment. Plain and simple. If they still put their hands on you, they're stupid. But at the very least you need to have documentation, or your claims mean sh*t to everybody.
