3rd Single for Hip Hop is Dead?, Poll (2 of 2) Options

I put 3rd single cuz I read he just filmed "Cant Forget About You (f/ Chrisette Michelle)" this past Monday (pics are all over the web).

Im not 100% sure Ida picked this song as a 2nd single, but wut do I know, song is cool.

Im sure u all of interesting choices

I didnt put "Hope" cuz Im sure he wouldnt use an acapella as a video.

Not my favorite songs on the album, but I'd like to see a video for Carry On Tradition or Where Are They Now. Can you imagine how dope a video they could make for that song. Clips from all the rappers he mentions, plus some James Brown shots for the hook/instrumental. That's my vote.

It's be dope if he made a single out of Money Over Bullshit. That track would have been a good first single in the same vein as Thief's Theme and Made You Look. Better than Hip Hop is dead, that's for sure.

If he decides to have any type of collabo for the third single/video, I'm pretty sure it'd be Black Republican. Still Dreaming is one of the best songs on the album tho. As is Let There Be Light.

yeah, i agree with lex. money over bullshit would had been a hot lead off single. but as far as a 3rd single, mos def let their be light still dreamin would be nice too but, let their be light gets my vote. black republican song to me is too old since it was already out on mixtapes prior to the album droppin even though it would prolly still get spins.

Where Are They Now ( I love the breakbeat feel it has, plus like Lex said, the visuals would be priceless, also a good history lesson for many)

Who Killed it (The video would prolly look super interesting with the way he acted this concept out)

Black Republican (possibilities are endless wit this video)

Still Dreaming (for the simple fact that this is one of the top songs on the LP)

Let There be Light (same reason as above)

Hustlers (this is a better than I expected collabo)


My final choice for single #3 is:

Black Republican, he needs an aggressive single plus this is a video that would be historic.

as for where r they now...while it would be a dope video, a track like that would get no spins on the radio, which is sad, but true. track would game would get alot of play though and a banger in my opinion. but damnit, gimme let their be light . blunt ashes would could be a dope video if they came with a good concept for it.

Id say the chemistry of the Nas's concept and the beat went GREAT together, but best beat, eh, just me tho. This albums production does sh*t on Kingdom Come's production.
