Failure
Its crazy sometimes when people look at you and they see failure You start seeing through their eyes and you almost believe...its nothing major But then you look up and you see the mother the father God who raised you They don’t understand the state your mind is You’re lion on the ghetto brick road hoping to find his Courage…above all else you need a home…you a king so you need a throne Go ahead call me a dog…cas Im selective about where I bury my bone Some peoples is confused but I aint never been jealous Cas ladies know Im da sh*t when compared to other fellas Honesty, loyalty mixed with blood line royalty Sometimes I feel my ancestors calling me…and dat aint sh*t talking B They tell me…Im surrounded by fake friends…so quit talking me Quit stalking me…In my heart I see…these same people trying to make it to the GARDEN with me…PARADISE I love that city Possibilities I’m a one dollar, two dollar three dollar biscuit so put me on your wish list I’ll show you what a gift is…. Gun everybody done everybody…everybody laid out Dose wasn’t my lines I’m jus sayin dey all played out Word to my sister word to my mother Words from a motherfucker who never had a father I tried a little harder to get a little daughter But it never worked out Tomorrow looking like a brighter day I learned to do right today so I did right today… See when you learn things you gotta do them right away What the wise man tried to say Uppity uppity...that’s what you was Luckily luckily I wasn’t stuck with you cause People who think they too big always do what you did… I wasn’t really a cool kid…so the people in school said but now who's livin and who's dead Too early to ask that…but remember these words Cause later in the journey we gonna take a walk back We practice to do better but we always do worse Pains is fulfilling and love it hurts Living or dying which one’s worse Back to the dust or the time of my birth Wonna dese days ill know what my life is worth -------------------- |
