Watch Invisible Mercedes Video for F-CELL Tour Commercial

March 3, 2012 at 7:45 PM ET - Mercedes-Benz is promoting hydrogen-powered cars through their new European F-Cell tour. Their latest commercial promotes a vehicle that uses F-CELL hydrogen technology, which creates less impact on the environment than standard gas and diesel based cars. The new car produces zero emissions.

To advertise the new vehicle, Mercedes-Benz covered the automobile in LED lights on the driver's side, and mounted a Canon EOS 5D Mark II digital SLR camera on the opposite side. The camera shoots video on the passenger side of the car, while video is displayed in real time on the driver's side. The actual Mercedes-Benz B-Class F-CELL car can travel up to 250 miles per charge on an electric engine. Don't be too quick to start shopping, however. The cars may not be commercially available until 2015.
