Eddie Salcedo, also known as Illstrator, is a 20-year-old Bronx-born hip hop artist who has been writing and spitting in ciphers since age 12. At home, he has always dedicated his time and efforts into perfecting his craft under a quiet, but yet driven demeanor. As the oldest child in his family of three brothers and one sister, Illstrator took on the responsibility of watching over his siblings while both his parents worked full-time jobs. His passion for music grew more and more as he entered Roosevelt High School in the Bronx. While he attended Roosevelt High, he was involved in many highly contested ciphers and took on the alias, "Illstrator".

Many define his style as versatile and witty, and credit him for painting vivid pictures with his rhymes. Illstrator takes pride in being a creative songwriter and is influenced by many genres of music. Illstrator is humble and reserved when it comes to his skills, but make no mistake; he consistently brings the heat and lets his lyrics speak for themselves.
